About Michael Beckford



Mike began his career as a successful salesperson in the Information Technology industry, at established companies such as IBM.  Although he loved sales, he felt something was missing.  His love of houses and his desire to work with people attracted him into the world of real estate and he has never looked back!  In his first year as a Real Estate Salesperson, Mike received the Master Sales Award for being in the top 20% of salespeople at Royal LePage Nationally.  Since then his success has grown, as he reached President’s Gold in 2006 (top 10%), Director’s Platinum 2007-2010/2017-2018 (top 5%), Award of Excellence (2010-2019) and Diamond 2011-2016/2019 (top 3%) a reflection of satisfied clients, repeat business and referrals.
Mike has developed a reputation for being a very likeable salesperson because of his “no pressure” approach with his clients.  He has been known to go that extra mile to help a client.  Mike once drove to London, Ontario, to assist a client when she was moving there.  For his listings, he arranges for a Professional Home Stager to come in to help make clients homes more sellable, and has even lent a seller furniture from his own home!
Mike has a large family, complete with three kids, and his mother lives around the corner.  As a result, he understands the importance of finding the right home for a family.  A safe neighbourhood, close to schools and transit and the right amount of livable, functional space in a home.  He specializes in East Greater Toronto Area—specifically from Scarborough to Bowmanville.  Mike grew up in Scarborough and now lives in Durham Region.  By listening to his client's needs he finds the right home, in the best area for his clients.
